Both our boy's and girl's teams have triumphed in the finals of the Red Lion Football competition, with the girl's final being played at Captain Cook Oval on Wednesday, and the boys' on home ground at Centenary Heights SHS on Thursday.
At the final whistle the boys, playing for the Red Lion Shield against St Joseph's College, were locked at 1-1, resulting in a penalty shootout. Goalkeeper Jordan Heading was the star of the match, saving three of the penalty shots.
The girls, playing for the Girl's Plate against Mary MacKillop Catholic College, ended up with a 4-0 result.
The semi-finals were played last week, resulting in wins against Harristown SHS and St Saviours College.
Coaches John Harman and Amy Kramer, as well as our wider school community, are ecstatic at the results. Well done to all our talented students who were in the teams!
