Please assist by either texting, phoning, using the QParent app External link, or sending a note explaining an absence. Following this procedure avoids an unauthorised absence being recorded against your child’s name. The available methods to report an absence are:
Please ensure your message, either verbal or written includes the following information:
- child’s name
- parent/carer name
- date of absence
- reason for absence
It is requested, where possible, that medical and dental appointments are made out of school hours.
Students who have been absent are required to bring a note to their pastoral care group teacher on the day of their return explaining their absence.
A telephone call would be appreciated concerning pending absences and on-going absences.
