Welcome to the Science Faculty.

Hi. My name is Kym Penman and I am the Head of Department for Science.

The staff in this faculty believe in delivering learning experiences that prepare students for multiple pathways ranging from direct employment to tertiary studies. With an ever increasing focus on global issues such as population density and climate change,  Science is even more relevant than ever before.

Students in Year 7 to Year 10 Semester 1 cover the core National Curriculum in both their Science and Agriculture classes. They also have the option of elective subjects in Years 9 and 10. In Semester 2 of Year 10 students are given the option to trial one of more of the Senior Sciences. A variety of General and VET options exist for students in Years 11 and 12, with many different career pathways.
