​​​​​​The Centenary Heights State High School English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) Program supports the Standard Australian English (SAE) language development of students for whom English is an additional language. That includes students who are:

Students are supported in the following ways to progress their SAE language acquisition:

  • The provision of a 12-month Intensive English Program for New Arrivals
  • Small group withdrawal for intensive teaching and in-class support
  • Year 10/11/12 tutorials
