Each Wednesday and Thursday a dedicated group of volunteers from the Rangeville Community Church, supported by teaching staff, arrive at our school to serve breakfast to hungry students so that they can get the best start to their day.
Breakfast Club has been in operation now for six years and is organised by our school chaplain Jason Berry and Deputy Principal Will Curthoys. Up to 90 students each day have enjoyed this free service, which is funded through donations.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and without it students could find themselves lacking energy and finding concentration difficult by mid-morning. Even something as simple as toast and Vegemite makes all the difference.
