Our school has a very famous international student program, operating since 1991, with a very experienced, highly qualified International Student Program staff, including a HOD International, International Student Coordinator, and Homestay Coordinator. Our school and staff are very experienced at hosting international students and staff.
Students are able to participate in a wide range of activities including sports, music, drama, art, and co-curricular activities.
Our highly respected buddy system will ensure visiting students have opportunities to develop meaningful friendships with Australian students. Our buddies - International Student Program Mentors (ISP Mentors) - are carefully selected by school administration through a rigorous interview process. They must then successfully complete cross-cultural training and then take up a leadership position in our school. The ISP Mentors would email the visiting students several months prior to them coming to Australia. In this way the mentors and visiting students would have the opportunity to develop an online friendship before they come to Australia - we believe and have evidence to prove that such email contact enhances the friendships formed when students arrive.
