Thanks to everyone who participated in our Centenary Heights Mascot naming project this year! With over 600 name suggestions originally submitted in Term 2 right through to our short listing and another 800 votes late last term, we would like to introduce you to……
Diego our CHSHS Mascot!!! Diego received 424 votes, winning by a convincing lead!
We have enjoyed seeing Diego out and about at our school activities this year, participating in lunchtime events such as The Red Frogs BBQ in Term 2. Diego has met a lot of people and made a friends as he worked his way around the school during breaks, whilst receiving many free hugs. He has even been on the sidelines at some of our sporting events and who can forget his standout performance in the 200m sprint at the annual Athletics Carnival.
Diego is a proud member of our school community, valuing safety, respect and learning. We are sure that Diego will be ready to be involved in many more school activities in the future.
