Our students had a very successful Choral Eisteddfod season with Li'l Ensom being awarded 1st place in the Folk Song section and 1st place in the Vocal Ensemble section. What made this particularly special was that one of the pieces they performed was a folk song arranged by past student Harry Young.
During this same evening, Bella Voices performed beautifully, the Basso Voices entertained the audience and received a Highly Commended and the Mixed Voices Choir were awarded 3rd place.
At the conclusion of the session, we were delightedly surprised to be awarded the Anne Thomas Trophy for the Highest Aggregate in Secondary School for the evening. Well done to all the students involved for their commitment and hard work resulting in some beautiful choral singing.
