Student leadership 2017

Brydie Symonds
School Captain
I am most humbled to be chosen as one of the Centenary Heights School Captains in 2017. My love for Centenary has grown even more throughout the past years and I am most definitely excited to lead by example with a positive influence. I am looking forward to the great things that will be accomplished by the 2017 leaders as we upkeep our outstanding school reputation, morals and individuality. I hope to inspire, encourage and support my fellow peers to create a year never to be forgotten.
Jesse David
School Captain
As School Captain of 2017 it is my honour to carry on the legacy of my brother and those who came before him. It will be my honour to uphold the values, attitudes and beliefs that this school upholds. I do believe that with great power comes great responsibility and I intend fulfilling the purpose and duties of this role in 2017. I look forward to strengthening the bridge between students and teachers and representing this school to the best of my ability.

Emma Taylor
School Vice-Captain
To be appointed School Vice-Captain at Centenary Heights for 2017 is a huge honour. In my position I aim to grow as a leader and hope to help my peers enjoy the year ahead. This is a great opportunity that I and fellow leaders have, to be able to bring something new to Centenary, while maintaining the high reputation it holds. I am most of all looking forward to working with the fantastic student leader body of 2017.
Jacob Martens
School Vice-Captain
The honour of being named School Vice-Captain for the 2017 leadership team is just unfathomable and I wish to uphold the positive influence that previous school captains and vice captains have had on the school community. Throughout the coming year I hope to extend my knowledge and understanding of what a leader should be. I hope to also lengthen the great reputation our school has in the community but I am most definitely looking forward to working with the rest of the leadership team in 2017.
