ENGAGE CREATE PERFORM CONNECT

The Performing Arts Faculty consists of staff who are dedicated to their students and their Arts speciality. Our focus is to facilitate creative learning experiences that equip students to engage, explore & develop performing arts skills, and connect with local and global arts communities.

Through studying a Performing Arts subject, students are exposed to the discipline of being an independent learner, gain skills in working as a part of a team and being goal driven to create, perform and critique a range of Arts works. This is achieved through having positive and supportive classroom environments.
The array of subjects on offer include, Drama, Film, Television and New Media, and Music. In the Senior phase of learning, there are both Authority and Authority Registered subjects, specialisation subjects and Certificate Courses available to ensure every student has the opportunity to study a Performing Arts subject.
In addition to the subjects on offer, students have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. These include Instrumental Music, Choir, Musical, Drama Production, Creative Generation State Schools Onstage, MOST and SHEP.
